    In 1954 the Jomar saga of TVR began. The first person to receive a TVR Jomar was racing driver Ray Saidel, who was also to become synonymous with TVR’s rise. The body was two front halves of a Microplas Mistral body fused together and became known as the Jomar (a combination of Saidel’s children - JOhn and MARgaret).

    Bespoke pin badge, die cast in zinc alloy, the soft enamel 25mm infill will cut a striking shape on any lapel. 

    The very first TVR, ‘No. 1’ no longer survives as it was damaged in a car crash. However, the second car TVR ever produced, ‘No. 2’ is owned by a current member of the TVR Car Club. It has been fully restored with the help of Trevor Wilkinson himself and is currently on loan with the Lakeland Motor Museum.

    1965 saw a new era of TVR under new ownership and a vast number of new cars being released. This logo is taken from the bonnet of a TVR Taimar, but the logo first appeared in 1964. The earliest printed evidence found of the logo came in press advertisements around October / November 1964.

    In the 35 year period that TVR has largely used this logo there were an incredible number of TVRs produced, namely Griffith, Chimaera, Cerbera, Tuscan, Sagaris and the never released Typhon.
